About this policy
Concordia Resolution is a shared trading brand used by two separate companies: CMC Asia Pacific Pty Limited (ABN 43 608 247 669) in Australia and Commercial Management Consulting Limited in New Zealand. This policy explains how they handle personal information when you visit the website, make an enquiry or deal with either company about its work.
What we collect
If you contact us, we receive the details you give us, such as your name, work contact details, organisation and the substance of your enquiry. A course enquiry may also include the course, preferred timing and number of participants. If we work together, correspondence and project records may contain personal information relevant to that engagement.
You do not need to give us your name to browse, although ordinary technical records may be created as described below. We need a way to contact you if you want a reply. Please do not send sensitive personal information or confidential project documents in an initial enquiry.
How we use it
We use this information to answer enquiries, arrange and deliver advisory work or training, keep business records, protect our systems and meet legal obligations. An enquiry does not, by itself, add you to a marketing list or book you onto a course. Any engagement or course booking is agreed separately.
Who receives it
Website form enquiries are sent by email to Steven Evans at the Australian company and Raine Selles at the New Zealand company, regardless of the enquiry’s location. If you email one of them directly, that email goes to the address you choose. Where a matter involves both companies, including subconsulting, relevant information may be shared between them. Service providers, including Digital Nomads for website hosting, Microsoft 365 for email and Google for website analytics and spam protection, may handle information for the company concerned; professional advisers or authorities may receive it where necessary or required by law. We do not disclose enquiry details to unrelated organisations for their own marketing.
Digital Nomads hosts the website in Australia. Website enquiries may be accessed by the two companies in Australia and New Zealand. Other service providers may process information outside Australia and New Zealand.
Storage and retention
Contact form enquiries are sent to both recipients by email, without a separate submissions archive in WordPress. Both recipients keep copies in mailboxes on the same Microsoft 365 tenant. Enquiries that do not lead to work are not currently deleted on a set schedule.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and limit access to people who need it for their work. Records relating to an engagement may need to be kept longer for contractual, business or legal reasons.
Website data and links
Web servers may record technical details such as an IP address, browser type and pages requested to operate and protect the site. The website uses Google Analytics to measure visits, which pages people read and how visitors arrive. Analytics uses cookies and collects device, browser and website-use information.
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam and misuse. This service processes technical information about your device, browser and interaction with the website.
Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what personal information we hold about you and request a correction. You can also raise a privacy concern by emailing Australia or New Zealand. We may need to confirm your identity before releasing information. We will consider your request and explain our response.
Please contact us first about a complaint so we have an opportunity to resolve it. If it remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner, as applicable.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our website or information-handling practices change. The date at the top will show when the published version was last reviewed.
