CESMM4 – Understanding Civil Engineering Measurement is for quantity surveyors, estimators and commercial teams learning to use the Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement. It focuses on preparing, interpreting and working with Bills of Quantities on civil engineering projects.
The course looks at the measurement principles, classifications and rules in CESMM4, and how to apply them. It examines common measurement and Bill of Quantities errors, what they mean for pricing and valuation, and how to address measurement issues during project delivery.
